UPDATE: More galleries and a video tour here: https://itw.crustlandia.com/2018/01/26/episode-abandoned-tb-hospital/
This Tuberculosis Hospital was a tuberculosis sanatorium built in 1911 to deal with the leading causes of death in the United States in the early twentieth century. It held 24 beds originally, and was remodeled in 1927 to hold 158 beds. By 1970 it was nearly empty, and it closed its doors in 1973. It is rumored to be haunted.
Visiting the hospital made me think about my health. I’ve been wondering lately if I’m doing enough to take care of my health, and if not what else I should be doing. I ended up looking online for information on medications in general, they have such wildly varying side-effects at times, it’s pretty crazy. It made me think twice about taking medication at all, I mean the body heals up when the illness is not very serious, might as well let it take it course and resolve itself, again as long as it’s nothing serious. If you find you want to look into this further like I did you can click to read more about medicines here.
